GEMMI is a fur outerwear brand from Finland, established as a sartorial antidote to the harshest of Winters in the North. The brand is defined by the luxury of Nordic functionality, refined simplicity and expert craftmanship. Gemmi products are designed and handmade in Finland. Gemmi is a family owned company, which continues a long tradition of making high quality fur products in the small town of Loviisa, located in Southern Finland. The collection of fur outerwear is made by combining carefully selected Finnish fur, sourced through Saga, with high quality technical fabrics. Several fabrics in the new collection are either recycled or biodegradable. Surplus fur material is used to make fashion-forward fur accessories.
Gemmi products are sold through selected boutiques and department stores globally and in the own Flagship Store in Helsinki. Stockists include Joseph (UK), Pedder Group/Lane Crawford (Hong Kong), Hankyu and Isetan department stores in Japan, as well as select shops in Galleria, Shinsegae and Hyundai department stores in South Korea.
